Job Responsibilities:

As a Police Officer with Tioga PD, your responsibilities will include:

• Enforcing laws and ordinances to maintain public order and safety.
• Conducting patrols, responding to calls for service, and ensuring the timely resolution of incidents.
• Building positive relationships with community members through proactive community policing efforts.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of crime prevention programs.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of incidents, arrests, and investigations.

Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent physical condition and the ability to pass a physical fitness test.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• No felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history.
• Willingness to attend and successfully complete the police academy (training expenses covered by Tioga PD).
