Storefront Improvement Grant

Local businesses can get up to $5,000.00 in matching grant funds for storefront improvements. This grant is supported by the Tioga Fund, the City's one-cent sales tax fund that finances many community projects.

Qualifying projects include cosmetic or structural improvements to the front of retail businesses and must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Improvements must be to the exterior of the building and visible from the street
• Projects can include but are limited to business signs, painting, front door replacement, window repair and entrance lighting
• Only labor done by a third party contractor will be covered under this program
• A building permit (if applicable) from the the City of Tioga must be attached.
